The Snake Earrings are a nod to the Sharp Tailed Snake, a rare endangered snake my dad studies here on southern Vancouver Island. I spent many days in my childhood looking for these little snakes and helping to build hibernaculums.

Hand made from sterling silver, including the hooks. The little loop that attaches the earring hook to the snake is soldered closed for added security.

Each little snake is about 2.8 cm long (not including earring hook), and about 1.3 cm at widest point.
