Like a little capsule of the glowing summer sun. This unique and beautiful beach stone was collected on a beach on Vancouver Island and polished in a rock tumbler in my studio. You can feel good about this stone because it bypasses any unethical working conditions or environmentally destructive mining processes, and instead was carefully collected on a seaside adventure.

The gorgeous stone is framed by recycled sterling silver, reminiscent of bubbles. It is handmade with love from sterling silver. Each “bubble” of recycled silver is made from scraps of silver that are melted with a torch until they ball up, and then each little ball is carefully arranged and soldered into place to frame the stone. The setting and the ring is cut, filed, shaped, and carefully soldered together.

The ring face is approximately 1.6 cm wide, and 1.9 cm long. The ring band has a hammered texture and is size 6.
