This elaborate statement ring is home to a unique beach stone that reminds me of the night sky.

The stone was found on a beach on Vancouver Island and polished in a rock tumbler in my studio. Therefore it bypasses an unethical working conditions or environmentally destructive mining and processing, and is very unique.

The intricate sterling silver ring is hand made. All the little elements are individually cut, shaped and soldered into place. The little silver balls adorning this piece are made from recycled sterling silver scraps which are melted until they form round little spheres.

The ring face is about 3 cm long and 2.4cm at widest point. The ring band is made from doubled half-round wire, it is sturdy and slightly adjustable. The smallest it goes is size 6, and will fit up to about size 8.5
